engineers and manufactures a complete range of gas control panels
such as priority panels, shutdown panels, temperature compensation
panels, defuelling panels and sequencing panels.
All gas control panels are
fully engineered to the applicable gas codes&standards and
manufactured and assembled in house by SAFE utilizing only the
highest quality fittings and materials.

Priority panels:
The function of
the priority panel is prioritization of gas flow direction from
the compressor to the High bank, Medium bank or Low bank storage
cascades in accordance with filling station request. Whenever
the storage pressure is low, the priority panel provides for gas
feeding directly to dispensers in order to allow faster vehicle
fueling and as such is a must for any fast fill CNG station.
The main
advantages of three lines cascade systems versus single line
refuelling systems are as following :

Fast refuelling also during peak
hours

Reduced number of compressor starts
and stops

Increased
usage of available storage volume (60% instead of 20%)

Emergency shutdown (ESD) panels:
Emergency shutdown panels are used to de-energize
storage cascades in cases of power failure or whenever
the ESD push button is pushed. Whenever de-energization
takes place, the ESD, a recommended safety feature for
all systems utilizing high pressure storages, performs
the following operations :

Closing
of all pneumatically actuated valves of the storage
cascade

Power
cut off to the natural gas fuel system

Equipment lock out
